I was given an arc for an honest review. I enjoyed Deceitful Truths however, in the beginning I did not understand what was going on and I believe this is because this is the second book in the series. I really like Tarin's character because she is getting to the truth of what her father has done and what is going on in her life. Graham and Tarin's chemistry is undeniable. Overall it is a standalone I feel I would have enjoyed it more if I had background info from the first book.
