The Last Boyfriend

The Last Boyfriend by JS Cooper is available on Amazon and B&N. GET your copy today and I promise you will not be disappointed! This is the first book in the Forever Love Series.

Synopsis from Amazon: Lucky Morgan has had her share of heartbreak. She is devastated when her boyfriend dumps her after sleeping with him and she vows to herself that she won't be used again. She decides that the next guy she dates and sleeps with, will be her one true love. Zane Beaumont is the mysterious and snooty guy that comes into her diner every Friday night with a different girl. He's the type of guy she's learned to avoid: carefree, fast, handsome, rich, and sarcastic. Unfortunately, she can't stop thinking about the devilish gleam in his eyes. When Lucky's car breaks down one night after a party, it is Zane who comes to her rescue. As Zane attempts to sweep Lucky off of her feet, she soon realizes that nothing is as it seems and that Zane may very well be the guy for whom she changes the rules. That is until she meets Braydon. New Adult Contemporary Romance **Mature Content** Recommended for ages 17+ due to sexual situations and language.

My Review: This review is from: The Last Boyfriend (Forever Love) (Kindle Edition) I loved every bit of this book. I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. The characters can absolutely be related too in one way or another. A college girl who works hard and a guy trying to prosecute a guy who was responsible for his brother's death. I liked the story line a lot and I cannot wait for Lucky and Zane's story to continue. Of course the love story went a little fast and all but I enjoyed the documentary part a lot as well. I love history so to learn something about the time period they are focusing on whether true or not it is the cool part of the book, in my opinion. I love that the author studied History. It is not too fast that one can not enjoy the love part and the exciting other parts as well! 5 stars all around and I look forward to the next part of the series.

Walk Me Home By Catherine Ryan Hyde Review

Walk Me Home is the most recent book I have read and I have a chance to review from Net Galley. I appreciate the chance of doing this and starting my new adventure of being a book reviewer. My review for this book is that it is more of a young adult book. I liked it but I was confused about the beginning. I did not understand why the characters were leaving or what was going on. Then all of a sudden the beginning is Part 2 of the story. I would have much rather read part 2 as part 1 so that I could get a background of the characters and why Teddy would be the one to finally take care of the girls. I thought Teddy was a friend to Carly and maybe he had a family that would help them. This was not the case it was the opposite he is the boyfriend to their mother. This story does show that the sisters did keep the faith of finding Teddy and how family they stuck together so that they would not be separated. I would give this book overall 3 stars. I hope to read more from the author but I just cannot give it an awesome review. Book Description from Amazon Since their mother’s sudden death, sixteen-year-old Carly and her eleven-year-old sister, Jen, have been walking and hitchhiking across the Southwest trying to find Teddy, the closest thing they have to a family. Carly desperately hopes Teddy will take them in and save them from going into foster care—and forgive them for the lies told by their mother. But when the starving girls get caught stealing food on a Native American reservation, their journey gets put on hold. While the girls work off their debt, Carly becomes determined to travel onward—until Jen confesses a terrible secret that leaves both sisters wondering if they can ever trust again. Set against the backdrop of the American Southwest, Walk Me Home and its resilient heroines will inspire readers and renew their faith in recovery and redemption.
